The work, commissioned by the Home Movies archive (based in Bologna), is a reinterpretation of amateur wedding movies kept there. It consists of a print on industrial canvas of a still image from a Nicoletti fund’s video. The frame is a close-up of bride’s face during the festivities following the wedding ceremony. Subsequent to the continuous flow of film, the frame sets the instant when the bride, accomplice of its becoming image, looks in the camera and accepts the direct relationship with the shooting, emboding a model of life and expectations.
